Finally, I get to see my best friend here! It has been 8 years since the last time I saw her. We lived together back in college with another bestie. We went to same classes for almost a year. We rode on the same buses to school for 1.5 hours round trip a few times a week. We did almost everything together, except skipping classes. As I recall, I don’t remember myself studying much in college back then. Haha. Oh well, I think Im doing fine!
It’s interesting where life takes you! I supposed to be with her in New Zealand. But I ended up living in the US. Only years later, we met again in Auckland.
Aukland life is quite nice. It’s a big city but still very peaceful and quiet. Somehow, living here with her feels like home! I wear her clothes (lost luggage story). I eat her foods. I drive her car! Yes, she just handed me the key and let me drive the car all over the island. She even said that it will be fine if something happens to the car. Wow my friend… yes my friend… she is that amazing! What can I say more about her? Literally speechless!
We hang out at a few beaches over the weekend. We hang out in the back yard. We text so much even when we are at the same place! It feels like nothing has changed, except, we both found the love of our life! Yes, congratulations to my bestie ❤️!
I feel so happy for her. She is the most passionate person I’ve ever known. Whoever is in her life always has her whole heart. I hope her fiancé knows that and gives her his whole heart without any missing pieces! Also, thank you for his cooking! What a great chef. He cooks for us almost every time we are with them. He makes hot chocolate every night! Ha, lucky us!
That’s why New Zealand feels like home! Home is where love is and we find plenty of it!
Can’t wait for the roadtrip with them to the South Island! It will be an epic trip, I already know it!
